# Adding a Voice-enabled Twilio Number

You can purchase a voice-enabled Twilio number and connect it to your Textit account in minutes, or, [if you're in a country where Twilio doesn't yet provide virtual numbers](https://www.twilio.com/help/faq/phone-numbers/which-countries-does-twilio-have-phone-numbers-in-and-what-are-their-capabilities), you can either try [Vonage](https://www.vonage.com/) or test your voice flows with an Android channel (see process [here](/en/article/adding-ivr-to-your-android-channel-1xcxgmn/)). 

Note: Twilio trial numbers are **not sufficient for testing**- you will not be able to send or receive real messages with a trial number! 

You can add a voice-enabled Twilio number by following the steps outlined [here](/en/article/adding-a-twilio-number-12wk04v/). Make sure to check the **Voice** capability in addition to **SMS**:
