# Can I use the platform in my country?

The platform can be used in any country in the world. In certain countries, we make it easy to connect directly to carriers, but no matter where you are, you can use a local SIM card and an inexpensive [Android](https://textit.com/channels/types/android/claim/) phone to deploy your SMS application.
