# Creating a Campaign

A campaign requires a name and a [contact group](/en/article/creating-a-contact-group-qb3yh1/) to send campaign events to. Note that each campaign may only operate on one group.  

## Creating a Campaign

1. Navigate to the **Campaigns** tab.

2. Click the **New Campaign** button on the top left side of the page.

3. Give the campaign a name and select the [contact group](/en/article/introduction-to-contact-groups-1l73iuf/) the campaign will operate on.
