Can I Make a Group Chat with TextIt?

We often get questions about group chat capabilities on TextIt. Users want to know if it's possible to create a space where multiple contacts can send to and receive messages from both TextIt and each other.

So, can you make a group chat? No.

TextIt was simply not designed for that kind of communication. TextIt uses logic that maps incoming and outgoing messages directly between your workspace and a single contact. While it's possible to send a Broadcast Message or Campaign to an entire group of contacts at once or start many contacts in a flow, their responses will only be directed back to your workspace.
