Creating New Nodes

To create a new node, right-click anywhere on the canvas. You can also drag from the red dot on a node to create a new one, if you prefer to work that way.

Drag, Drop, and Organize

You can rearrange your flow by dragging: * Reorder actions inside a node by dragging them by their arrows. * Drag actions from one node to another. * Create a new node from an action by dragging the action out of a stack and onto the canvas. * Combine actions from different nodes by picking up a single action and dropping it onto another stack.

You can also build flows on an iPad.

Editing Your Flow

You can select parts of your flow to delete or copy them, which makes it easier to reorganize and reuse sections of a flow.

Delete Nodes Select the nodes you want to remove so they're highlighted in blue, then press Delete. You'll be asked to confirm before anything is removed. If you delete something by accident, you can restore it from the revision history.

Copy Nodes To copy a single node, hold Shift and drag the node onto the canvas. To copy several nodes, select them so they're highlighted in blue, then hold Shift and drag the selection onto the canvas.

Zoom Controls

• Zoom-to-Fit: See your entire flow at once to get a sense of its overall structure.
• Zoom In/Out: Adjust your view between 30% and 100% using shortcuts.
• Full Zoom: Return to the 100% view.

You can keep editing nodes while zoomed out or in fit mode.

Automatic Reflow

Automatic reflow rearranges a messy, complicated flow into a neat layout in one click. To use it: 1. Zoom out. 2. Right-click the canvas and choose Reflow. 3. Review the reorganized flow.

If you don't like the new layout, click Discard, or restore your previous version from the revision history.

Search Flow Function

To find specific content in your flow, click the search icon or press Ctrl + F.

This is useful for finding every instance of an action, such as Call Webhook, or of a phrase in a long, complex flow.

Sticky Notes

To create a sticky note, right-click the canvas and choose Add Sticky Note. You can resize sticky notes and place them anywhere on the canvas, so they stay out of your way while you work. They're useful for keeping track of long or complex flows and for keeping your team on the same page when you collaborate.

Be sure to test your flows as you build them using the Flow Simulator.
