Splitting by Group Membership

Route a contact through a flow's logic using a Split by Group node. This lets you send different messages to contacts depending on the groups they belong to.

For example, a flow that asks study participants when they started the study can first check whether the contact is in the 'Study Participants' group, so that only enrolled contacts are asked the question:

By splitting on group membership, only contacts in the 'Study Participants' group continue in the flow and are asked for their start date. Everyone else follows the Other path and receives a different message letting them know they aren't enrolled in the study yet and can reply JOIN to sign up.

You can add or remove contacts in a group either manually or via a flow.
